Snow Machine 2025 has been hit with an unfortunate lineup change, as organizers have confirmed that Action Bronson will no longer be performing at either of the festival’s Japanese editions. Due to personal reasons, the rapper and chef will be unable to make it to both Hakuba (March 4-9) and Niseko (March 10-15), leaving fans disappointed but hopeful for a future appearance.
“We are absolutely gutted and can’t wait to see him at one of our festivals in the future,” Snow Machine shared in a statement. While Action Bronson’s absence is a blow, the festival has wasted no time in bringing in top-tier replacements. UK rapper and electronic crossover artist Example will now join the Hakuba lineup, while beloved Aussie hip-hop group Bliss n Eso will step in for Niseko, ensuring the energy stays high across both locations.
Snow Machine’s 2025 edition remains packed with talent, featuring Chase & Status (DJ Set), Dillon Francis, A-Trak, Claptone, Bob Moses (Club Set), Hot Chip (DJ Set), Horse Meat Disco, SBTRKT (DJ Set), and Melanie C, among many others.
With final ticket packages now on sale, festival-goers can still expect an unforgettable week of music, snow sports, and après-ski parties in Japan’s stunning alpine regions.
