AVA Festival has revealed its full 2025 lineup, promising an electrifying weekend of music and culture in Belfast. Taking place on the 30th and 31st of May at the iconic Titanic Slipways, this year’s edition features a blend of global superstars, underground icons, and emerging talents.

Leading the charge are legendary electronic duo Underworld, set to deliver a breathtaking headline performance. Joining them are Overmono, Ewan McVicar, and the high-energy Ki/Ki. Techno heavyweights 999999999, VTSS, and Job Jobse will also grace the decks, while Sally C and Tommy Holohan bring their signature sounds to the festival.

Live performances include Spray’s immersive Spriitzz showcase, Chalk, and the avant-garde Fcukers. Fans of innovative club music can look forward to sets from DJ Python, OK Williams, and C.FRIM, alongside rising stars like Sam Alfred, DART, and Kessler.

The legendary Fuji Rock Festival has just unveiled the first wave of artists for its 2025 edition, set to take place from July 25-27 at the stunning Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa, Japan. After three years of bringing country music fans together under the Sacramento sky, GoldenSky Festival has announced that it will be pressing pause in 2025. Organizers shared the news in a heartfelt statement, assuring fans that while the festival won’t take place this year, they are planning an even bigger and better return in 2026.

"This wasn’t an easy decision," the festival team stated, emphasizing their commitment to delivering the best possible experience for the GoldenSky community. While the announcement may come as a disappointment to country music lovers who have made GoldenSky a tradition, organizers reassured fans that this is not the end—just a short break before an exciting comeback.

GoldenSky debuted in 2022 and quickly became a standout event in Sacramento’s festival scene, bringing major country artists and unforgettable experiences to fans. The decision to pause in 2025 allows organizers to focus on elevating the festival for its highly anticipated return in 2026.

"Thank you for your support, your energy, and your love for GoldenSky," the message concluded, promising that the wait will be worth it.

After three incredible years of country music in Sacramento, GoldenSky will take 2025 off to prepare for an unforgettable 2026 edition.

Yours & Owls Festival is making history in 2025, becoming the first music festival in New South Wales to introduce pill testing. Taking place on March 1st and 2nd at Wollongong Foreshore, the festival will be part of a groundbreaking harm minimisation trial announced by the NSW Government.

For the first time in Australia, a government-run agency will oversee pill testing at a festival, with NSW Health professionals, peer workers, and analysts providing free substance checks. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to have their substances tested for purity, potency, and harmful adulterants before speaking with a qualified counsellor about potential risks. The testing facility will be located within the festival’s medical tent, ensuring complete anonymity.

Festival co-founder Ben Tillman expressed strong support for the initiative, stating, “While Yours & Owls maintains a zero-tolerance policy, we recognise the importance of harm minimisation. This isn’t a solution to all issues, but it’s a proven strategy that has saved lives worldwide.”

Despite the introduction of pill testing, festival-goers are reminded that illicit drugs remain illegal in NSW, and police will be present on-site. With Yours & Owls 2025 already nearing a sell-out, this landmark move is set to make festival history in Australia.
