Festival-goers can now start planning their perfect weekend—Rhythm and the Reef 2025 has officially released its full set times. The two-day event returns to Mackay’s Meadowlands Amphitheatre on 22nd and 23rd August, promising back-to-back performances from some of Australia's most loved acts and rising stars across multiple stages.

Friday kicks off with high-energy sets from Boo Seeka, 360, and Ruby Fields, with The Presets closing out the evening in style. Saturday ramps things up even further, with The Jungle Giants, Hockey Dad and No Money Enterprise lighting up the night before Amy Shark delivers what’s expected to be an unforgettable headline performance. Supporting the major acts is a strong lineup of emerging talent including Same Pains, Giant Palms, Kabuki, and Confessions DJs.

Festival organisers have staggered set times to minimise clashes and allow punters to enjoy a wide variety of performances across both days. Local favourites Synoptic, Valo, Zuko and 5th Force will also appear, ensuring there’s plenty of opportunity to discover new sounds alongside the big names.

From The Jungle Giants to Hockey Dad, here’s when every artist is hitting the stage at Rhythm and the Reef 2025.

Rhythm and the Reef is officially back for 2025, returning to Mackay from August 22nd - 23rd with a huge lineup to celebrate its fifth anniversary. Headlining this year’s milestone event is ARIA Award-winning artist Amy Shark, who will be joined by The Presets, The Jungle Giants, Hockey Dad, 360, Ruby Fields, No Money Enterprise, and a strong mix of local and national talent.

The festival kicks off with an exclusive 18+ pre-party at McGuires Hotel on Friday 22nd August, headlined by Boo Seeka, before continuing with a full day of music at Meadowlands Amphitheatre on Saturday 23rd August from 1pm to 10pm. Alongside the music, punters can expect sustainable art installations, local food and market stalls, licensed bars, and a VIP area.

Co-organisers James Slade and Michael Delaney say the 2025 edition marks a new chapter for the festival, attracting national interest and putting Mackay firmly on the touring map.

Presale tickets go live at 4pm on 28th May for those signed up via the Rhythm and the Reef website, with general tickets available from 4pm on 29th May. With tickets starting from just $99, this year’s event is shaping up to be the most accessible and exciting yet.

With just weeks to go until the highly anticipated 2024 edition of Rhythm and the Reef, festival organizers have officially released the set times for the event. Taking place on October 5th, 2024, at the Meadowlands Amphitheatre in Mackay, Queensland, the festival promises a full day of unforgettable performances from some of Australia’s most exciting artists.

Headlining the festival are hip-hop legends Bliss N Eso, alongside surf rock trio Skegss and the soulful Thelma Plum. Fans can also look forward to dance favorites Sneaky Sound System and chart-topping rapper Allday. The lineup continues with rising acts like Same Pains, Giant Palms, Jonte, and The Wild Sky, who are set to bring a range of genres to the stage.
