Primavera Sound Festival has announced its exciting expansion into Colombia with the inaugural Primavera Sound Bogotá, set to take place on 9th and 10th December 2023. The event will be held at the Parque Metropolitano Simón Bolívar, the city's expansive green space, chosen in line with Primavera's commitment to natural and respectful urban integration.

Director of Primavera Sound, Alfonso Lanza, shared his enthusiasm about the festival's long-awaited Colombian debut: "We want to bring them closer to their favourite artists, but we also want to learn from the Colombian music scene". This development is part of Primavera's wider transatlantic expansion, with a new one-day event, Primavera Day Asunción, also announced for 7th December in Paraguay.

The Colombian capital will follow the path laid out by Buenos Aires and São Paulo, making it an essential stop on Primavera's global tour. This commitment to creating a music festival that respects its surroundings, promotes gender equality, and invests in social commitments and sustainability signifies Primavera Sound's universal appeal, regardless of the location.
