Palomosa Festival has unveiled its full 2026 lineup, confirming MGMT, Sophia Stel and fakemink among the key names set to lead Montréal’s earliest major music gathering of the year. The genre blurring event returns to Parc Jean-Drapeau from 14th - 16th May, 2026, marking a bold shift from its traditional September slot and positioning itself as the city’s opening signal for summer.

Headlining the third edition is MGMT with a rare DJ set, tapping into the duo’s renewed cultural momentum in the digital age. They are joined by internet era disruptors including fakemink, Xaviersobased, Sophia Stel, POiSON GiRL FRiEND, DJ Smokey and Kinji00, reflecting Palomosa’s mission to translate online subcultures into an immersive live experience. The festival’s programming continues to blur the lines between hyperpop, experimental rap, club music and underground electronics.

The three day event opens with an outdoor block party curated by X-Coast and his Deejay Academy collective, before expanding across the FIZZ Stage and Banque Nationale Stage on Friday and Saturday. Palomosa 2025 featured an eclectic lineup including M.I.A., Arca, Yeule, Rebecca Black, Marie Davidson live, Nettspend and TDJ, alongside underground favourites such as MCR-T, X-Coast, Mechatok, The Hellp and Fcukers live.
