Electric Avenue has confirmed its return for 2027, locking in dates for 26th - 27th February, 2027 at Hagley Park in Christchurch, New Zealand. Following another sold out edition earlier this year, the festival continues to cement itself as one of the Southern Hemisphere’s standout summer events, with presale tickets set to go live on 9th April at 8am.

The announcement arrives off the back of a massive 2026 edition that showcased a diverse, cross-genre lineup. Highlights included NZ exclusive performances from Split Enz, Dom Dolla, Becky Hill and Sammy Virji, alongside standout sets from Basement Jaxx, The Streets and Pendulum performing live.

The festival’s ability to balance international headliners with homegrown talent remained a key strength, with L.A.B, Leisure, Drax Project and Kora representing New Zealand’s thriving music scene. Electric Avenue has officially unveiled its full 2026 set times and festival map, giving fans the final piece of the puzzle ahead of its long awaited return to Hagley Park in Christchurch on 27th - 28th February, 2026. With all tickets now sold out, anticipation is at fever pitch as thousands prepare for two stacked days of music across five stages in the heart of the South Island.

Friday, 27th February, 2026 sees Split Enz close the Electric Stage with their NZ exclusive performance, while Becky Hill headlines Park Stage and Basement Jaxx deliver a live NZ exclusive set inside The Hangar. The Streets, Sammy Virji, Disco Lines, L.A.B, Supergroove and Maverick Sabre are among the highlights, with Cosmic Palace and Circo Disco keeping the energy high deep into the evening.

Saturday, 28th February, 2026 lifts even further with Pendulum performing live as a NZ exclusive before Dom Dolla takes the final Electric Stage slot. Kesha, also NZ exclusive, headlines earlier in the evening, alongside Ocean Alley, Royel Otis and Leftfield. Across the site, fans can catch Peking Duk, Dub Fx & Tiki Taane, Fazerdaze, Jalen Ngonda, Pirapus and many more, ensuring constant clashes and big decisions.

Electric Avenue confirms stage schedules and site layout for 27th - 28th February, 2026 at Hagley Park in Christchurch.

One of the headline electronic acts booked for Electric Avenue 2026 has officially withdrawn, with Norwegian duo Röyksopp confirming they will no longer perform at the sold-out Christchurch festival. The group had been scheduled to deliver a two-hour DJ set at Hagley Park across 27th - 28th February, 2026.

Festival organisers confirmed the cancellation via social media, citing circumstances outside of their control. Röyksopp were also recently removed from Splore Festival’s lineup in New Zealand, with logistical reasons understood to be behind the decision. Organisers have assured fans that a replacement artist is already being locked in and will be announced shortly.

Despite the change, Electric Avenue 2026 remains one of the most stacked festival lineups in the country. Headliners include Split Enz, Dom Dolla, Becky Hill, Basement Jaxx (Live), Pendulum (Live), Kesha, Ocean Alley, Royel Otis, Leftfield, Peking Duk and The Streets, alongside a deep undercard of international and local favourites.
