In a surprising turn of events, the much-awaited Be Social Fest 2023 has undergone a change in its artist lineup. Owing to unexpected international obligations, Australian sensation Vera Blue will not be able to perform as initially announced. The festival's team wholeheartedly supports her decision and looks forward to her future performances in Mackay.

As one star steps down, another rises: Queensland's pop gem, Mallrat, is set to join the festival's impressive roster. Mallrat, acclaimed for her multi-platinum single "Groceries" and her successful 2022 album "Butterfly Blue," will take her place among Australian favorites including Grinspoon, San Cisco, 360, Coterie, and Toby Hobart.

This change is expected to elevate the festival's appeal further, consolidating Be Social Fest's standing as a rapidly rising star in the Northern Queensland festival circuit. In its third year, the festival anticipates sell out crowds.
