Wildlands Festival has confirmed that its Adelaide edition will not take place in 2025, marking the first pause for the South Australian leg since it debuted in the 2022/2023 season. Organisers announced the news in a statement to fans, citing changes in the event landscape and challenges in maintaining the standard they pride themselves on delivering.
The popular New Year’s festival, known for its mix of electronic, hip hop, and indie acts, will continue to go ahead in Brisbane and Perth. The team behind Wildlands expressed gratitude to Adelaide fans for supporting the event over the past three years, noting the importance of bringing large-scale music experiences to a city often overlooked on the touring circuit. They also shared hopes to return to South Australia in the future.
Wildlands has become a fixture of the summer festival season, attracting global names such as FISHER, Ice Spice, Chase & Status, Tinashe, RL Grime, Confidence Man, Becky Hill, and more for its most recent edition. The pause in Adelaide will allow organisers to focus on delivering what they describe as their strongest Brisbane and Perth shows to date.
As a thank-you to Adelaide supporters, organisers are offering early ticket access to Wildlands Brisbane, Wildlands Perth, and sister festival Beyond The Valley, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Early access will be available before tickets go on sale to the general public.
