The acclaimed phone-free music event, This Never Happened, is making its highly anticipated return to Australia this January, offering fans a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the music without distractions. Created by DJ and producer Lane 8, the concept debuted in 2016, inviting audiences to fully engage with melodic house in an environment free of phones and cameras.
After a sold-out debut in 2023, This Never Happened is back with two exclusive shows, supported by Untitled Group. The event will feature performances from French DJ and producer Massane, Dublin-based artist EMBRZ, and special guest Samantha Loveridge.
Massane brings his signature melodic house sound, showcased on Lane 8’s label with his popular Visage EP series, including his 2024 release Visage EP 7 (Spin My Head). EMBRZ, known for hits like “Where You Are” and his 2023 album In Our Own Way, adds his unique blend of tranquil melodies and heartfelt lyrics to the lineup.
The shows will take place in Melbourne at 170 Russell on Friday, January 17, and in Sydney at Liberty Hall on Saturday, January 18. Tickets are already on sale, and with the events just days away, fans are encouraged to act fast to secure their spot for this unforgettable experience.
