The University of Sydney Union (USU) is thrilled to announce the return of Someday Soon, a festival that promises to make 2024 a year to remember as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic Manning Bar. Known for being a launching pad for many renowned Australian artists, Manning Bar will host this year’s festival across two spectacular nights, each dedicated to showcasing the best of indie and R&B/pop music.
On August 21, indie music enthusiasts are in for a treat with a lineup featuring the beloved DMA’s, alongside the vibrant Rum Jungle, the talented Hannah Brewer, and the USYD Battle of the Bands Winner. This night promises to deliver an unforgettable indie music experience, highlighting both rising stars and established favorites in the Australian music scene.
Following this, on September 18, the festival will shift gears to present a night of R&B and pop music, featuring the sensational Emei from the USA, the soulful William Singe, and the dynamic J.Tajor. These artists are set to bring high energy and captivating performances, ensuring a night of smooth beats and electrifying vibes.
Tickets for Someday Soon 2024 are affordably priced, starting at just $20 (+fees) for USU Members and USYD Students, and $50 (+fees) for the general public. USU Members can unlock their special pricing using their Unique Member Number. This accessible pricing ensures that all music lovers have the opportunity to join in the celebration of Manning Bar’s rich musical history.
