Snow Machine Japan has dropped its first artist lineup for 2027, and it is shaping up to be the alpine electronic music festival's most ambitious edition yet. Returning to the stunning Hakuba Valley from 2nd–7th March, 2027, the festival will celebrate its fifth year in Japan with five days of world-class skiing, snowboarding and non-stop electronic music across eight unique stages spanning seven mountains.

Leading the charge in this first announcement are Irish house and hard dance powerhouse KETTAMA, UK drum and bass icon Wilkinson, producer of the platinum-selling Afterglow, and Grammy-nominated LA Beat Scene pioneer TOKiMONSTA. They are joined by an impressive roster including Patrick Topping, Rebūke, Elderbrook (DJ set), Sneaky Sound System, Luude, Arielle Free, Lovebirds, Torren Foot, Sam Alfred, STÜM, William Kiss, MPH, Kanine, and Japanese artists Risa Taniguchi, Yuuki Yoshiyama and teenage scratching duo Kaiharubro, with more names still to come.

Festival Director Quentin Nolan promises new stages, fresh mountain activations and an even more immersive experience for 2027. Packages start from just $1,474 per person, with a $399 deposit available via flexible payment plans. Pre-sale registrations open today, 11th August, 2026, with first-release tickets and packages dropping at 5:00pm AEST on 17th August, 2026, ahead of general sale from 9:00am AEST on 18th August, 2026.
