The world’s biggest water-themed music festival, S2O, has officially locked in its long-awaited Australian debut, confirming it will splash down in Brisbane on Saturday, 28th February, 2026. The event will take place at the Royal Queensland Golf Club, transforming the riverside venue into a summer dance party like no other.
Known globally for its immersive water cannons, cutting-edge stage production, and stacked electronic lineups, S2O Australia is expected to deliver the same energy fans have experienced in Bangkok, Tokyo, Taipei, and Los Angeles. This will be the first-ever Australian edition of the Thai-born festival, which blends Songkran water celebrations with high-octane EDM performances.
While the lineup remains under wraps, organisers have announced it will drop at 5:00pm AEDT on Thursday, 2nd October. If previous editions are anything to go by—featuring acts like DJ Snake, Afrojack, Marshmello, and Steve Aoki—fans can expect international heavyweights across the electronic spectrum. Pre-sale access begins on Wednesday, 8th October, with general tickets available from Thursday, 9th October.
Presented by Collective Minds and Tang, S2O Australia promises a full-scale open-air experience complete with pyrotechnics, lasers, massive LED screens, and the festival’s iconic splash zones. The event will run from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, offering a unique fusion of music and water that’s sure to make waves with Aussie festivalgoers.
