Rhythm and Alps has announced the return of Synthony for its 2025 edition, bringing their one-of-a-kind orchestral dance experience back to Cardrona Valley. The beloved act joins an already stacked lineup of international stars and local talent, with the festival set to run from 29th to 31st December, 2025, near Queenstown and Wānaka.
Famed for blending a 60-piece orchestra with DJs, live vocalists, and immersive visuals, Synthony delivers electrifying renditions of club anthems like “Rhythm of the Night”, “Sandstorm”, and “Losing It”. Their return follows overwhelming demand from fans after a standout 2023 appearance, and organisers have promised a performance that will again light up the mountains.
Synthony joins a massive lineup including UK heavyweights Dizzee Rascal, Rudimental, and Santigold, along with Kiwi favourites The Black Seeds, Chaos In The CBD, Corrella, Halfqueen, and Lady Shaka. With more acts still to be announced, Rhythm and Alps is shaping up to be one of the must-attend New Year’s festivals in Aotearoa.
The three-day event also includes the return of Campers’ Night on 29th December, featuring exclusive sets and a premium upgraded camping area. With capacity expected to exceed 10,000 attendees, and tickets already on sale, Rhythm and Alps 2025 is on track to be the biggest edition yet.
