Rhythm & Alps, the South Island’s premier New Year’s Eve festival, has announced the first 19 artists set to perform at its picturesque Cardrona Valley location this December. Leading the 2024 lineup is EDM-pop sensation Becky Hill, known for her hit tracks like “Remember” and “Crazy What Love Can Do.” Hill, who wowed New Zealand audiences at Rhythm and Vines last year, is poised to bring her energetic performance to Rhythm & Alps, further cementing her popularity among Kiwi fans.
Joining Hill on the lineup is drum and bass legend Andy C, co-founder of RAM Records, who will deliver his signature high-energy set. Shapeshifter, New Zealand’s iconic live electronic band, will also take the stage, celebrating their 25th anniversary with a special performance that promises to be a highlight of the festival.
The lineup showcases strong local talent, with Sir Dave Dobbyn, a beloved figure in New Zealand music, set to perform alongside Cassie Henderson, Elemeno P, and hip-hop artist Wax Mustang. These acts underscore the festival’s commitment to blending international stars with homegrown favorites.
In addition to the music, Rhythm & Alps will unveil two new stages and other site enhancements, adding fresh excitement to the three-day event. With more artist announcements to come, the festival is shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration to ring in 2025.
