Rhythm & Alps has unveiled the first wave of artists set to perform at its 2025 edition, celebrating the festival’s 15th anniversary in the stunning Cardrona Valley. Taking place from 29th to 31st December, the South Island’s biggest New Year’s music festival will once again deliver a world-class mix of international headliners, Kiwi favourites, and cutting-edge electronic acts.
This year’s opening lineup is stacked with major names, including UK rap icon Dizzee Rascal, chart-topping drum and bass outfit Rudimental, and genre-bending singer Santigold. Dance floors will heat up with sets from Dombresky under his disco alias Disco Dom, house duo Chaos In The CBD, and bass-driven acts like Kanine, Badger, and Gentlemens Club. Fans can also look forward to live performances from The Black Seeds, Corrella, Catching Cairo, and a host of rising talent.
Organisers have hinted at one very special surprise act still to be announced, sparking speculation among festival-goers. The already impressive bill also features Beccie B, Dick Johnson, Fiona & The Glow, Halfqueen, Lady Shaka, Natty Lou, Nice Girl, Pages Layn, Suune, Th’ Goodside, Fish56Octagon, and Swimming Paul, ensuring a diverse soundtrack across the festival’s three-day run.
