Bulgaria is set to welcome a major new addition to Europe’s festival calendar with the launch of PhillGood Festival, taking over the Rowing Canal in Plovdiv from 17th to 19th July, 2026. Headlined by The Cure, Gorillaz and Moby, the three-day event signals a pivotal cultural moment as Bulgaria strengthens its position as one of Europe’s fastest-rising creative and festival destinations.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of Plovdiv’s iconic Rowing Canal and surrounded by the city’s famed seven hills, PhillGood places world-class music inside one of Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. Roman ruins, Ottoman-era architecture and a vibrant contemporary arts scene combine to create a setting that promises a striking contrast between historic surroundings and modern large-scale production.
The opening night on 17th July sees The Cure make their long-awaited Bulgarian debut, joined by Wolf Alice, Just Mustard and French electronic producer Perturbator. Gorillaz headline Saturday, 18th July with their genre-blurring audiovisual spectacle alongside Kneecap and Sleaford Mods, while Sunday’s finale on 19th July belongs to Moby, closing the festival with a career-spanning electronic showcase. Two additional stages will host emerging artists and alternative sounds, reinforcing PhillGood’s focus on musical depth and discovery.

Presented by Fest Team, PhillGood Festival offers three-day, single-day, VIP and camping options, delivering a fully immersive experience in the heart of Plovdiv. With a lineup spanning alternative, electronic and experimental music, the inaugural 2026 edition positions PhillGood as a bold new player on the European festival stage.
