Sydney’s new house music series Petting Zoo will now take place indoors due to extreme heat, with organisers confirming a venue move to Plaza (600 George Street) for its debut on Saturday 10th January, 2026. The venue swap ensures a safe, fully air-conditioned experience while keeping the festival’s bold energy intact.
The updated event will now run from 7pm to 3am, taking over every level of the expansive Plaza venue—from basement to theatre—with immersive production, confetti drops, inflatables, and world-class sound. The new format will feature extended back-to-back DJ sets from an eclectic lineup of international and local talent.
Artists set to perform include Jordan Brando, Parker, Laidlaw, Locky, Newtone, Known Artist, Kenry, High Visa, Ca Lou, Mep, Me1to, and recent DJ competition winner Ethan Melton. With a focus on forward-thinking talent and playful, community-first energy, Petting Zoo aims to disrupt the traditional day party format.
Tickets for the new indoor edition are on sale now. All existing ticketholders can opt for a full refund, while the team promises an elevated and weather-proof dancefloor experience for Sydney’s house music lovers.
