Laneway Festival Announces 2026 Dates and Venues

The countdown is on — Laneway Festival’s highly anticipated 2026 lineup will drop in less than 48 hours, and ahead of the reveal, organisers have confirmed the dates and locations for its milestone 21st edition. This summer’s tour will feature a refreshed route across six cities, with new venues in Queensland, Adelaide and Perth.

After nearly a decade in Brisbane, Laneway Festival will relocate to the Gold Coast, making its debut at Southport Sharks on Saturday, 7th February, 2026. The move follows redevelopment plans at the previous Brisbane site, and offers an exciting new setting for fans on Yugambeh Jagun. Adelaide's event will move to the Adelaide Showgrounds for better infrastructure and crowd flow, while Perth audiences will now experience Laneway at Arena Joondalup — a space boasting improved production capabilities and greater capacity.

The festival will return to its familiar homes in Melbourne and Sydney, landing at Flemington Park on Friday, 13th February, and Centennial Park on Sunday, 8th February, respectively. Auckland's leg will kick off the 2026 run on Thursday, 5th February at Western Springs.

Presented by triple j, Laneway Festival 2026 promises to honour its storied past while ushering in a bold new era. Co-founders Danny Rogers and Jerome Borazio describe it as a chance to celebrate two decades of community, discovery and world-class performances. The full lineup announcement is set for Thursday, 18th September at 8.10am AEST.
