Beloved UK pop festival Mighty Hoopla is officially heading Down Under, announcing its Australian debut for Saturday, 21st February, 2026. Set to take over Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach, the event promises a high-energy celebration of pop, queerness, and unfiltered joy — headlined by global superstar Kesha.
The announcement confirms what many fans suspected after Kesha’s Sydney date was missing from her recently unveiled TITS OUT tour. She’ll now headline Mighty Hoopla’s first-ever Australian edition, bringing anthems like TiK ToK, We R Who We R, Praying, and Joyride to a sea of glitter-covered fans on the sand.
While Kesha is the only artist confirmed so far, organisers have promised a stacked lineup of “iconic artists, drag royalty, DJs, and queer party collectives” from across Australia and the globe. The full list of acts is expected to drop soon — and if the London editions are anything to go by, fans can expect a mix of nostalgic pop icons and queer-forward performers.
Pre-sale tickets for Mighty Hoopla Sydney go live at 10:00am AEDT on Wednesday, 22nd October, followed by general on-sale from 10:00am AEDT on Thursday, 23rd October. With one of the UK’s most vibrant festivals landing at Bondi, and Kesha leading the charge, the debut promises to be a bold and beautiful start to a new Aussie tradition.
