Tasmania’s premier New Year’s celebration, Great Escape Music Festival, is set to return for its sixth edition with a huge all-Australian lineup. Running from 29th December, 2025 to 1st January, 2026, the beloved coastal event will once again transform Marion Bay into a vibrant hub of music, community and summer celebration.

This year’s headliners include indie giants Spacey Jane and Lime Cordiale, along with acclaimed singer-songwriter Thelma Plum. The Presets will bring a high-energy DJ set to the mix, with other standout acts including San Cisco, Hockey Dad, Jack River, The Buoys, and Pacific Avenue. The festival continues its tradition of spotlighting rising talent, with Fool Nelson, Blusher, Kinder and dozens more rounding out the diverse bill.

Alongside the music, punters can expect wellness sessions like yoga, late-night DJ sets, and plenty of space to soak in the atmosphere. Backed by Triple J, the festival’s community-first ethos remains a driving force, with organisers expressing gratitude for six years of support and shared memories.

Presale tickets go live on Tuesday, 2nd September at 8am, followed by general sale on the 5th at 8am.
