Evolution Festival Announces Pause for 2026 Amid Busy U.S. Event Calendar

Organisers of Evolution Festival have confirmed the event will pause in 2026, citing a crowded national calendar that includes the USA’s 250th birthday celebrations, the FIFA World Cup, and the Summer Olympics. The announcement comes just months after the successful 2025 edition, held on 27th–28th September at Forest Park in Saint Louis, Missouri.

The festival launched in 2023 with a vision to celebrate music, community, and cultural impact in the heart of the American Midwest. Since then, Evolution Festival has steadily grown into a major player on the U.S. live music scene, blending rock, hip hop, indie, soul, and Americana with a diverse and era-spanning artist roster.

The 2025 lineup featured standout performances from Lenny Kravitz, Sublime, Sam Fender, TLC, Public Enemy, Father John Misty, The Hives, and Corinne Bailey Rae, among many others. Held under golden autumn skies, the most recent edition showcased both global acts and emerging talent across two stacked days of programming that reinforced Evolution’s reputation for eclectic, high-quality curation.

While 2026 is officially on pause, organisers reassured fans that Evolution’s mission will continue—promising a future return focused on uniting people through music and meaningful experiences. No official date has been set for its next edition, but fans can expect updates as the festival looks to resume its role in the live music landscape beyond 2026.
