Electric Picnic has revealed the first names for its 2026 edition, taking place from 29th to 30th August at Stradbally Hall, County Laois. Leading the announcement are headliners Gorillaz and Fontaines D.C., with Gorillaz set to make their long-awaited debut on Saturday night and Irish rockers Fontaines D.C. closing out the festival on Sunday.

Also joining the initial wave of acts is Ireland’s beloved CMAT, who continues her rapid rise with another major festival booking. The first announcement also includes chart-topper Zara Larsson, American singer-songwriter Sombr, and legendary British MC Skepta, further showcasing Electric Picnic’s signature mix of global names and homegrown talent.

Rounding out the first nine acts are rising indie favourites Wunderhorse, alt-pop artist Role Model, and Brooklyn-based rock band Geese. Festival organisers have also confirmed the return of several beloved immersive areas, including Trailer Park, Croí, Fish Town, Salty Dog and Providencia—hallmarks of the Electric Picnic experience.

All tickets for Electric Picnic 2026 have already sold out, reflecting the immense demand and reputation the festival continues to build year after year. With more artists to be announced in the coming months, fans can expect an even bigger lineup as Ireland’s premier festival returns to the lush grounds of Stradbally Estate.
