Deep Tropics Equinox will no longer go ahead as planned, with organisers confirming the cancellation of the debut Nashville event just days before it was set to begin. The festival, originally scheduled for 20th - 21st March, 2026, had recently shifted from an outdoor setting to an indoor venue at Warehouse Residency.
In a statement released on 18th March, organisers cited compliance issues following a Metro inspection at the new venue as the key reason behind the decision. According to the update, certain requirements could not be met within the limited timeframe, leaving no viable path forward for the event or an alternative venue solution.
The cancellation marks a significant moment for the Deep Tropics brand, which noted this is the first time it has been forced to cancel an event. The lead-up to Equinox had already raised concerns, with a late venue change and ongoing criticism from workers connected to previous events adding to uncertainty around the festival’s rollout.

All ticket holders will receive full refunds, with organisers directing enquiries to their ticketing provider. Despite the setback, Deep Tropics has confirmed its flagship festival remains scheduled to return to Nashville across 4th - 6th September, 2026, as planned.
