Insomniac has announced a major new chapter for its flagship Midwest dance music event, revealing that Beyond Wonderland Chicago will officially rebrand as Beyond Wonderland Midwest from 2027 onwards. The festival will also relocate from its longtime home at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island to the sprawling Chicagoland Speedway, with the 2027 edition set to run from 11th–13th June, 2027.

The move brings with it a significant format upgrade, as the event expands from two days to three, and introduces on-site camping for the very first time. Headliners will have access to four nights of car and RV camping, transforming the festival into a fully immersive destination experience. The expanded site will also allow for larger stage productions, greater experiential activations, and later operating hours across the weekend.

Ticket options for Beyond Wonderland Midwest 2027 will go on sale Friday, 19th June, 2026 at 12:00pm CT, and include three-day GA, GA+, VIP, car camping, RV camping, and pre-party passes. VIP access, which includes expedited entry and exclusive viewing areas, is strictly 21 and over. The announcement follows a strong 2026 edition that featured sets from Alan Walker, DJ Snake, Excision, Zedd, and more.

Chicagoland Speedway holds particular significance in Insomniac's history, having previously hosted EDC Chicago back in 2013, making the venue choice a nod to the company's roots in the region. With camping, an expanded lineup of ticket tiers, and a bold new identity, Beyond Wonderland Midwest 2027 is shaping up to be the most ambitious edition yet for electronic music fans across the United States and beyond.
