BM Park Live has announced a bold sustainability move for its 2025 festival editions—introducing fully vegetarian and vegan menus across its entire event series. The initiative covers both Junction 2 Festival and Paradise In The City, held at London’s Boston Manor Park, and forms a key part of the organisation’s ambitious NetZero by 2025 strategy.
In partnership with food trader management specialists Event Merch, BM Park Live has curated an inclusive and globally inspired range of meat-free offerings, from poke bowls and paella to chick’n burgers and hot dogs. This latest move builds on previous years, which phased out red meat in 2024 and delivered 100% vegan crew catering. Now, attendees will be treated to an all-vegetarian lineup of food as BM Park Live pushes toward becoming carbon-positive.
The decision aligns BM Park Live with other pioneering festivals such as Shambala, DGTL Amsterdam, and Massive Attack’s events, highlighting a growing shift toward climate-forward event planning. With reduced energy consumption, no artist private jets, and travel levies funding carbon offsetting, the festival continues to set a powerful example for the wider industry.
Festival director Will Harold says the menus will be “the tastiest festivals we’ve ever worked on”, proving that sustainability and indulgence can go hand-in-hand. As audiences prepare for Junction 2 and Paradise In The City 2025, they’ll not only be dancing to cutting-edge sounds but also participating in a cleaner, greener future for live music.
