Australia’s northernmost music festival BASSINTHEGRASS has officially unveiled its 2026 lineup, with a diverse bill of over 20 acts set to take the stage at Darwin’s iconic Mindil Beach on Saturday, 16th May. Now in its 23rd year, the beloved one-day event continues to celebrate the rich sounds of Australian music across pop, rock, R&B, indie, electronic and beyond.
Leading the charge are festival favourites Peking Duk, G Flip, The Teskey Brothers, and Ball Park Music, alongside high-energy sets from Mallrat, Kita Alexander, and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers. Electro tastemakers Anna Lunoe and Nina Las Vegas will deliver a special back-to-back set, while rising stars like Maple’s Pet Dinosaur and international guests JessB (NZ) and Venjent (UK) round out the stacked lineup.
Heavy favourites In Hearts Wake return to the NT for the first time in years, joining a multigenre lineup that balances chart-toppers with next-gen talent. With its reputation for atmosphere, beachfront views and dry season sunshine, BASSINTHEGRASS continues to be a major drawcard for both locals and visitors.

Presented by the Northern Territory Government, BASSINTHEGRASS highlights Darwin as a top-tier destination for music and culture. Tickets for the 2026 edition are on sale now, with previous years selling fast—so fans are encouraged to secure their spot early for what’s shaping up to be another unforgettable day in the Top End.
