Astral Plane: Total Eclipse Festival has officially launched, announcing its debut edition for 10th - 12th August, 2026 at La Pinilla Mountain Resorts in Segovia, Spain. Positioned within the path of Europe’s first total solar eclipse of the century, the new festival introduces a concept-driven experience that blends electronic music with a rare celestial event just one hour from Madrid.
At the heart of the festival is a landmark eclipse set from Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson, who will deliver a bespoke four-hour performance timed precisely to the moment of totality. Designed to align with the shifting light and atmosphere of the eclipse, the set will transform the natural phenomenon into a fully immersive audiovisual experience.
The inaugural lineup brings together a global selection of house and techno artists, including Ellen Allien, DJ Stingray 313, Luke Slater, Ben Sims and Nicole Moudaber. They are joined by leading selectors such as Gerd Janson, Mano Le Tough and Eris Drew, alongside a wave of emerging talent and international underground names.

Set across three stages in the Sierra Ayllón mountains, the festival will also feature talks, workshops and wellness programming alongside its music offering. With camping and accommodation options available and tickets from €165 on sale now, Astral Plane: Total Eclipse Festival positions itself as a bold new addition to the global festival landscape.
