Sziget Festival 2025 has announced a major change to its lineup, with Kid Cudi stepping in as the new Friday night headliner, replacing A$AP Rocky. Organisers confirmed that Rocky will no longer be performing due to unforeseen circumstances. In his place, the Grammy-winning artist behind "Day 'N Nite" and Man on the Moon will bring his genre-blending, emotional brand of hip hop to Óbuda Island on 8th August.
The festival, taking place from 6th to 11th August in Budapest, Hungary, already boasts an enormous and diverse bill. Global stars including Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Charli XCX, and Nelly Furtado are set to perform alongside acclaimed electronic acts like Justice, Amelie Lens, and Armin Van Buuren. With over 200 artists confirmed, from legacy names to underground favourites, Sziget continues its tradition as one of Europe’s most eclectic festivals.
Other notable acts include The Last Dinner Party, FKA Twigs, Elderbrook, Little Simz, and Portugal. The Man, with plenty of homegrown Hungarian talent also on display. The addition of Kid Cudi brings an exciting new flavour to the weekend, as his cult following and artistic evolution are sure to resonate with the Sziget faithful.
Final release tickets are on sale now, and with the full lineup locked in, this year’s Sziget is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet. Whether you're in it for the sunrise DJ sets or the blockbuster headliners, Budapest’s Island of Freedom is ready to deliver another unforgettable week.
